Smile Need help for pricing

Hi everyone..

I have my original exhaust system (cats, y-pipe, mid-pipe, muffler), plenum intake and air intake laying around in my garage. Therefore, I want to sell those parts since they take a lot of space in my garage. Could everyone please give me some idea how much should I sell the air intake, plenum intake, cats, y-pipe, mid-pipe and muffler? those parts have 8000 miles on them. they are still in good conditions. no dents and no cracks.

I would really appreciate your inputs. Thanks alot guys..

Since he says original, it's probably OEM and since this is posted in the coupe forum, it's probably from a coupe.

yes.. sorry for being not very clear.. those parts I want to sell are all OEM G35 Coupe parts. Please give me some idea how much I should sell those OEM parts. If someone on this board is interested in buying that would be awesome. By the way, my g35 coupe is a 2004 model

Hey Vic - have you checked out the marketplace yet to see what others are likely selling theirs for, if they are?

I know new CATS are like $800 each side - so used is like $.20 on the dollar there. The rest of the exhaust is probably worth about $400 - as new is about $1,800 or so.

Intake would go for about $300 with usable filter - but it depends on what parts you have too. Does the intake include the tube and the front ram-air piece as well? If so, then it would be worth the $300. If it is just the box and filter, then likely worth about $150.

Ya i think it is a good idea to keep them as well. If you sell the car then you can sell your after market parts instead of selling it away with the car because you wont get anything for those parts.

Yeah I guess it would be great to keep those parts, but in my case it's a bit troublesome to keep them. The thing is that the parts are in MI and the car is in MA. I already kinda sold my coupe to my brother. I think to send those parts would cost me a lot of money, so it would be best to just sell them.

Imsolutions, I never thought that the OEM cats are that expensive.. $800??
Even if I sell the cats for $400, I dont think anyone would buy them. As for the intake I have a complete set (tube, filter & box). And again, do you think I can sell the air intakes for $300?? people will tend to buy Z-tubes and pop charger..
By the way, what about the OEM plenum intake? how much should I sell it?

Here's what you - go to the marketplace - list your stuff for best offer and go for it. Look there and see what people are asking for. you might find people looking for htings you have.

Look for WTB - want to buy....
