i think the spacer is usless b/c it doesn't help the flow to the front cylnders... it just adds more space for the air to flow... doesnt fix the problem... ud be better off getting a crawford plenum... or if ur planning on going F/I then id get the Kinetix SSV... great performance and amazing look

I think the spacer will help because of the addes space, however the result might not be as good as the crawford because the added space also increased the back which is taking most of the air coming in stock. Stock plenum is curved giving the rear more space and neglecting the front. But the biggest problem with stock is that the 3 on the other side of the intake will be getting the left over air of the 3 that's getting the "dibs" of air. Crawford's plenum makes sense because the level of the plenum is uniform through out all 6 cylinders. However, saying that the spacer gives no help is not true, spacers give 3 cylinders on the other side more chance to take in some air. Which is why the newly redesigned VQ for the 2007 took care of that by having dual air intakes. Hopefully the plnum is not sloped...eliminating the need to replace the plenum. Although I'm sure they'll devlop a new spacer for the new VQ down the line for more breathing room. Just my .02.

Skunk 2 is 5/8 and is like 215 or something

I personally like motordyne

5/16 you can still fit the cover
1/2 you cant put the cover on
The Skunk2 is $175 on Everything G35:

I cant justify another $100 because of a brand name. Does anybody know of any MAJOR differences between the 2?

supposedly material...stating that better meaterials = better against heat but you know what go for it! If I didnt have a crawford plenum i'd defintely go for the skunk 2! It's not like they leak or anything. I wouldn't pay $100 for brand name either.
