if you reset the ecu it actually takes longer for it to relearn. now if the SES light goes on then you either have to reset the ecu or you might of moved the throttle body sensor. There are instructions on doing all the on motordyne's site for their spacers even though yours isnt motordyne's.

plenum spacer or a new plenum? Spacers range in price by brand and size w/bells and whistles

Funny how times change. A year ago, people swore up and down that you must reset the ECU for every mod and that the ECU had to be reset monthly or it would wipe out gains from mods I got into all kinds debates with some choice individuals about the ECU and the way it learns. It's good to see that most people are coming to their senses when it comes to the ECU.

motordyne 1/2 is 295 and with iso i think is like 360 or so

Skunk 2 is 5/8 and is like 215 or something

I personally like motordyne

5/16 you can still fit the cover
1/2 you cant put the cover on

anyone with skunk2 very happy with it? Skunk2 5/8" cost less than 200 shipped if you look around. I personally dont think there would be much of a difference between MD and skunk2. Skunk2 claims they have carbon composite material (carbon impregnated nylon-6) and I don't know what MD has. But I think with a $100 difference, I think skunk2 can strongly be considered.

ok, a noob question, but what exactly does the plenum help with? does it just let more air into the ports?
