**All borla exhaust owners**: Your input is needed

Ok, currently i am in the market for a new exhaust but i am really hesitant on which to get. i am rather concerned that i may not get the tone that im looking for. what im looking for is a nice low/deep tone at idle and a nice deep/throughty growl throughout the the RPM range. does borla fit my description? was the performance increase significant? what was your cost for install? how does the borla compare with the stock exhaust (tone wise)? yea i know...a lot of Q's...i am picky!...thnx.

on a side note, i currently have the injen CAI installed...would that affect the tone of the exhaust in any way?....any response will be greatly appreciated.

I have the borla and it is like what you said "low/deep tone at idle and a nice deep/throughty growl throughout the the RPM range" its more bassy than stock and a little louder. It took me and my buddy about 3 hours to put it on. Not very complicated, but kind of confusing since there is no markings on the pieces to match the diagram. I definatelly felt an increase in power, they claim 15-20hp i would say thats right.

Exhaust is pretty good quality. I sell it here where I work, you might want to check out our site: http://www.titanmotorsports.com.

check out that page, there's a video i made a while back comparing my stock vs borla exhaust.

I can say that i'm VERY pleased with it. When I hear the regular exhaust on either a g coupe or z, it seems hollow doesn't contain any power. With the borla, it gives the car an entirely new badass feel.

To: G35COUPEdotNET (Jason)....i dont see the borla that specifically says for "G35", the one i did see though was the one for the 350z...will that still fit my coupe with no problem? i may pay with my credit card but, can i have this shipped to my work office instead? i know that some companies have issues regarding shipping to a different address's other than the billing address of the credit card for security reasons, thats y i ask.

o yea...will the boxes it comes in fit in my copupe?

Bro, the Z Borla is a different length. The one you want is #B140057 specificly for the G35 Coupe.

I've had the Borla exhaust on for almost 2 months now. The tone is just awesome....now whenever i hear a G w/ stock exhaust....i feel that it sounds raspy.
Borla did an excellent job and kept the price near $700.
The install took me and my buddy 3 hours on ramps (during the midwest power outage...haha).
+10HP sounds about right...

I love the sound from the Borla exhaust. According to the recent Cat/Back shoot out in San Jose all installed on 350zs, the Borla came out best of the group with a Dyno results of 8.2 RWHP increase. Don't fall for all the Stillen stuff where they claim way more than their products produce. Their exhaust system came out with a 7.1 RWHP increase the same day.

For the do-it-yourselfers: What sort of ramps do you use? The standard car ramps- 2 or 4 of them?
