I'll be in Orange County at Christmas time, but until then I'm about 500 miles North.
Take the plunge, you'll love the sound of the Borla exhaust.

I have the Borla exhaust with their headers along with an Injen CAI. Sound is truly nice and deep but pretty loud (probably due to my headers). In any case, I think you should really listen to a car with the mods before you buy if you place such an emphasis on sound (not a bad thing).

Hey Bought, I was going to get the headers too. Did you install the exhaust at the same time as your headers, or separately? I'm curious to see what the difference in sound is. I wouldn't want something that's too loud. Any of you guys with the exhause also have the headers as well?

Re: **All borla exhaust owners**: Your input is needed

I first installed the exhaust on a bone stock coupe then installed an injen intake right before the header install. I really cant tell you where the extra oomph of sound came from but on my way to Borla HQ with the exhaust and intake, it didnt sound as loud as when I got it back with the headers in. In any case, not sure if its worth $500 (I'm a poor college student) but if you got the cash then to each his own I guess. I will also be present at the socal meet this weekend if you want to hear it. Hope this helps; sorry i couldnt have a better way of defining the sounds.... lemme try to reiterate.... BEFORE: sounded a bit lower and deeper than stock (altogether a different exhaust note than stock) AFTER: Noticeably louder than before but sound is somewhat the same as the car with the Borla on it. The Injen really screams after 4000k rpm also....

Sounds good bad_infiniti... I think you'll be very happy with the exhaust system. I enjoy mine very much and can't wait to drive her over the weekend....

Ok! Got my exhaust and headers yesturday. But won't have time to have it done until next week. I'm gonna do the exhaust and headers at the same time. Minus well since we're gonna be under there. I'll let you guys know what the difference is. I haven't done any intake yet either, so I'm pretty sure that'll be a pretty interested comparison to some of you guys.
