Blitz SUS intake
Has anyone tried or heard anything about the new Blitz SUS intake for the coupe? I couldn't find anything on the topic in the forums. Let me know if I missed something or please put in your insight.

Re: Blitz SUS intake
PimpinPearl, There isn't much info around on the Blitz intakes and filters but I did come across this: -Blitz SUS.
There's a couple more posts in memory if you do a search. not sure if you've seen them or not.
5 hp and 3 ft lbs. isn't bad increase (dyno proven). I might consider one myself. I'll check the addy you posted:

Re: Blitz SUS intake
I have the Blitz on the car. Performance wise, I wouldn't be able to tell you because I installed it the first 30 minutes I had my G35 Coupe......plus, the car only had 15 miles on it, so I didn't gun it til I broke it in.
However, I could tell you the quality of the SUS is exceptional. It is made out of some type of alloy mesh, which is a dry-filter type and comes w/ a small heat shield. Personally, I prefer going w/ JDM parts because of their quality (not to say, domestic parts are bad).....and Blitz is one of the premier Japanese tuners.
Hope this helps.

Re: Blitz SUS intake
Do you have any pictures of the intake on your car. Did you do the installation and was it easy to do? Another thing that gets me kind of iffy is the fact that it is a good $50 cheaper than all the other intakes on the market. I hope some more people try this one out.

Re: Blitz SUS intake
My friend has the Blitz intake. it's really cool, a really thin wire mesh filter. You don't need to oil it or anything. And you can rinse it off in water.
But other than that, I don't think it's that special. In regards to performance, it's probably the same as any of the other cotton oiled filters.
But it definitely looks really cool
