FastIntentions HFC and exhaust installed

So I got the HFC and Intimidator exhaust system from Tony and crew last Friday and of course immediately went and got it installed the very next day lol. I received all the parts in excellent condition, well wrapped and everything. Only problem however was I got all the bolts but no washers or nuts to go along with them . This I realized at the shop and had to go grab some from Autozone...But I digress. I took a simple video of the stock exhaust on my car (only performance mods being the JWT PC, z-tube, and mrev+) before and one the next day after getting it.

The actual installation time wasn't too bad, ~4 hours or so. But a good portion of that was letting the cats/exhaust cool down (I drove from columbia to DC) and of course the side trip to get nuts/washers. The exhaust itself looks absolutely sick, and i'm quite happy with it. Starting it up and driving it back up to columbia the car sounded really loud, but after driving it for about ~100 mi now it seems like its a lot better. I don't feel any more "pull" according to my buttdyno but I also have not reset the ECU either or had any tuning done. I guess I was expecting a drastic increase....

As for the video, I just made a simple one with me revving the engines before and after the install.

enjoy!

PS: video isn't the best...I'll upload a better one when I get a chance

That exhaust honestly doesn't sound that good to me, it just sounds like air coming out with VQ noise. IMO, I believe the stock exhaust sounds better. If it was me, I would of bought the HFC's and called it a day.

It's pretty common knowledge that the Injen is a POS

Well the sound is much much different when the car is in motion. There is a loud growl in the sub 3k range. I'll try to get a better vid/sound clip of the car in motion, probably by this weekend sometime.

Granted its no where near as loud as the HKS, but it can sound very close to stock when it needs to without drawing attention.....Thats why I like it so much.

I really need to reset my ecu...lol

Honestly guys - that video doesn't really give you much about how the system really sounds at all.

Here's a better one to listen to:

Not the new Track Edition. What makes you say its crap? The old fiberglass problem? That was solved a while ago

i would much rather retain the stock note than gaining the HP, that's how much I like the stock exhaust note. But do go to the dyno and see what you've gained.
