Just remember when you sell a post 1995 vehicle you are responsible for returning the emission system to oem........oem cats and piping. You must provide an emission inspection......you are certifying that the vehicle is in compliance with Federal and State laws.
Say you sell a car and someone sells tries to sell again and it is found to fail a visual inspection or found to have gutted cats the current owner can sue you years later to return emission system.............AS IS does not apply to emissions fraud.

a gutted cat wont pass emissions , right? has any one pass emissions test with test pipes or highflow cats? or do you have to switch back to your factory system every year for inspection?
ud be surprised what passes isnpection...i work 4 njdmv....i used 2 inspect and now i do some other stuff....but u remember some kid i know came thru with a 91 mustang gt freshly rebuilt with a cam and vortech 6 lb supercharger and headers cat-less h-pipe and cat-back...guess what...passed emissions soo easy...and i didnt help it at all...but that was a once in a lifetime ordeal...umm newr cars with obdII in it can have anything it wants on it pretty mucha s long as cats are visible...eg: cat shell, resonator looks like a cat....and as long as check engine light isnt flashing....but must show up when u turn the key 2 the on position...
p.s... most exhuast sound raspy especailly tp's....

No smart......................!
If you don't want to run cats (and you should) get
the test pipes. Don't destroy your factory cats, you
might need them someday. With all the good mods
you've done thus far why do something dumb now.

Don't do it. SFLG35 did it and it sounded like pure crap! Just spend the extra money and get some high-flow cats or test pipes. It depends on how much you want to spend, but you can replace your cats for $200-600.
