If your getting an intake, get it for the sound, not for performance.
Also, I prefer Stillen due to the fact that it is a short ram intake that works exactly like a CAI. But since it isnt a "true" CAI (only because its form, although it does take in cold air) chances of your vehicle hydrolocking are much less since it isnt as low as most CAI.
Mrev2 is real power in the other hand

I am confused when people say this. Just by using plain old school physics it can be shown that you should gain something by using a CAI just due to the fact that it pulls in the colder air. For there to be no gain would be almost like saying gravity doesn't work sometimes. If I am missing something please inform me.

Thats it.
Thats the reason why you wont see much gain with aftermarket CAI or other forms of intakes.

"I've recieved a million requests asking if the MREV can be installed on the 280 HP engine. Unfortunatly I had to turn them all down because the MREV is simply a spacer with a lower plenum from the 280 HP engine. ...So if you have the 280 HP engine, all you need to do is install a spacer and you automatially have a MREV.
But you know of that machining process I have been doing to the MREV+ lower collectors to allow for more air flow?...
Well, I dynod it on a 280 HP engine and it made surprisingly good gains."

since your nonrev-up..i think this is what youre looking for:
"Lower Plenum Core exchange for the 280 HP engine is a go! I'll set up the Motordyne website to accomodate core exchanges."

i emailed them about this two days ago..still waiting for a reply

Hey Tony,
are the gaskets reuseable when I take the spacers off? My installer had to take them off to get to the injectors for my sc install and noticed oil deposits on the gaskets and some inside the manifold. He was afraid that the gaskets arent reuseable and may cause a vaccum leak once he reinstalls everything. I actually have 2 gaskets (1 below and 1 above the spacers) so is it fine to reuse or do i need new gaskets?
sorry i would have pmed u but your box was full.

I currently have the Z-Tube and Stillen Intake on my car and I'm planning on going with the 5/16" spacer, MREV2, Exhaust, and then finish it off with a techno Reflash. From threads I've read in the past, I've read that any spacer added to the car along with an exhaust doesn't work well. Has any one done some times on the track and noticed either their time slow down when adding a spacer when already having an exhaust or vise versa?
