Mrev2

Has anyone installed the Motordyne MREV2 in their 6MT yet?

Would love to hear about it.

So far all I've done is 5/8 plenum, Injen CAI and short throw shifter.

if you plan on sticking with N/A, then by all means the best mod for it.

i just had my MREV2 + 5/16" spacer and i LOVE it! my times are lower at the track and you will definately tell the difference when you're at the sweet spot

What shifter do u have? Does it rattle & how many miles have u put on since
mod. I want this baad but don't want any rattles. Also did it help the 1-2 shift
any? I can drive and I had a '99 C5 manuel trans. but it shifted much smoother than the G.

i got the stillen 4 way adjustable shifter. It flat out rocks. no rattles at all, i ve put about 1000 miles on with it installed. Very short height even shorter throw and its adjustable. you can take it back to stock height if you want.

BTW, when reading you questions i has visions of a 5 year old kid for some reason.

So ya'll think that with the Injen CAI, Skunk2 5/8" plenum and MREV2 this would be a pretty good starting point for mods huh? I am happy with the mods Ive done so far.

Gives noticable gains, best bang for the buck I've had so far, especially since i was fortunate enough to buy it discounted when it first was being sold and since I have a non-revup I received a $222 core return.

I dont think I could drive my car without it now. hehe

Yes definately a great start for mods

Why injen though ?

I would have taken stillen hands down (personal preference)

cool. i chose injen because it seemed to show the best power gains i could find. all intake are fairly close and i love stillen but really wanted an CAI not a short ram intake.

I will get stillen exhaust when that time comes, already decided that. Along with RT free flow cats.

A common misconception is that CAI or any other intakes give you more power. The fact is that CAI (including short ram intakes) dont give you any significant power. Actually, many CAI owners have complained about losing low-end power due to their intake.

If your getting an intake, get it for the sound, not for performance.

Also, I prefer Stillen due to the fact that it is a short ram intake that works exactly like a CAI. But since it isnt a "true" CAI (only because its form, although it does take in cold air) chances of your vehicle hydrolocking are much less since it isnt as low as most CAI.

Mrev2 is real power in the other hand

I have an 06 Coupe 5AT. Doest the MREV2 work for my car? I actually have a 1/2'' spacer in right now. Feels good...just a tad bit louder than just when i had my z-tube and Stillen intake.
