HKS exhaust cracking?

Anyone here with an HKS Hi-Power have this problem? I realize it's a fault of the design but am wondering if anyone else has seen this. A friend of mine had this problem and found it a PITA to have it fixed with HKS.

That would suck!!
I'd do what that guy did. Screw warranty.
What do you do in the meantime while your mid pipe is being repaired by HKS for who knows how long.

Just PMed a friend with a HKS for a FYI.
Thanx for the post.

Well...the exhaust has a 4 year warranty. My friend had to drop his entire exhaust at HKS after getting the RJ number from the vendor be bought the system from. HKS then rewelded the bracket back on and reinforced the area (rather than a new pipe....). You need to either have your stock exhaust or a second car, unfortunately.
