Hi all just wondering if you think an AAM intake will increase horsepower on an 04 coupe that is automatic? Will an intake increase hoursepower on an automatic G35? This is the intake i plan on getting:

Some issues with the oil-type filters have been an accumulation of oil residue in the MAF causing bad readings. So don't over-oil them.

The OEM airbox is very efficient. A Z-tube and drop-in filter help. Aftermarket, the popular choice is the Stillen... ...which most closely resembles the OEM design but provides more power.

you wont gain any hp on any intake lol

maybe 1 or 2whp but those gains are probably marginal errors

But +1 on stillen. thats the only intake ive heard that has the most gains (if any......)

A good tip when oiling your filter is to do it at night before you go to bed. In the morning re-install it and go. Like GT said don't soak it and you'll be fine. I had a Injen for over 2 years and oiled my filter about 4 times a year with no problems.
