Talking Infinity Exaust "whine"

Hi...This is my first post on the discussion board. I'm looking to mod my exaust but right now I'm just looking to improve the already standard Infinity "Whine", the Z has the same one. I've heard it referred to as the FX Whine. Anyway, if anyone knows the simple way to increase this standard and unique sound I'd greatly appreciate the help. I have heard it to be relitively easy, like removing the Cat or something along those lines. THANKS!

Removng the cat?! lol buddy your car is going to be so loud and illegal with no cats and it wont sound like the coupe...you can start by getting maybe some HF cats to get a more deeper and aggresive tone

what i did was this: injen CAI, cat-less pipes, ktx intake manifold, HKS Hi-Power exhaust, and finally the procharger. I'll say this, the whine isn't really a whine anymore...its a god damn growl...and i love it. For something quick and noticable, get the cat-less pipes (u gain deeper whine plus more flow through design) and a CAI. All together, it should run maybe...$400-$500 range (not including install, if u can't do it yourself). U def. hear a big difference. Thats it...my $0.02

The "whine" is not exhaust if it's the same sound I hear on my 6mt rollin at 15-20mph...sweet sound tho, I have no idea how to make it louder. Kinda reminds me of the gear drive sound on my old camaro, just a lot more refined.

Not just in the title, but in the post too. You got to it before me. Also, exhaust, not exaust.

Anyway, these guys can help ya more than I can on that sound.

I've got HFCs on the way (hopefully will be delivered today) which will amplify the sound a bit more, but I don't think I'm going to change the from the OEM cat-back.
