HKS is better then the Borla... some people say the HKS is a little too raspy, and personally i dont think it sounds ricey at all but for sure more raspy then the borla... i have a Borla and i love my exhaust, cheap and one of the better power producers out there... i'd recommend going for it.. but if u got the cash and dont mind spending it get the HKS

Take a look at the Invidia G200. It's a good real dual system (the Borla is not). Add an "H" pipe and it become a great system.

you should also look at the Fast Intentions Intimidator system.

www.fastintentions.com

There is a Fall Sale going on now as well in the marketplace.

the fall sale prices are dirt cheap!!! if i didn't have exhaust i would get this one, still debating the test pipes.

i have fujitsubo and love it in every aspect the tips have grown on me. but between hks and borla, hks its also around double the price.

i would take a serious look into the fast intentions intimidator

I looked on the Fast Intension site and their prices are just as much as the HKS. Shouldn't I go with the HKS instead.

I have the true dual Borla exhaust. Its okay. I really dislike how there are so many pieces and everything is held together by clamps which I think is a bad design flaw since it makes this system more prone to exhaust leaking and getting the tips straight with the bumper openings harder. The tone of the Borla is allot deeper than stock. Mated with stock cats and it almost makes the car quieter than stock until you go above 3k rpm. Mated with high flow cats or test pipes the tone sounds almost like a V8 type of car and it roars in the upper rpms. This exhaust has a little drone to it, but in my oppinion it is not as bad as the injen.

Right now i'm looking for something else to replace it...

I installed the Borla a few hundred miles ago on my '06 6MT coupe. I was surprised at how quite it is -- too quiet, for me, when accelerating hard. But also surprised by the cabin drone at ~1700 -- 2200 RPM. I would like a somewhat noisier system, not raspy, that doesn't drone. Is there such a thing?

+1, I like the HKS but plan on spending twice as much for it, I have the Borla and I am very happy with it, plus I got it for a little under $700, HKS will be twice that
