Does anyone know what cats, if any, are CARB certified.

As far as companies other than Crawford claiming that their headers are equal length, I'd be curious to know what part of the header their measuring. There clearly is a volumetric different between the various pipes on all other headers other than Crawford, which should determine how long it takes the exhaust gases to get to the collector area. Just because you can measure the outside distance on one of the pipes, the inside distant on another, and they measure out to the same length does not make them equal length!

That kind of misadvertising is right up there with "This stainless steel cat-back exhaust system will increase your sedan's performance by 21-23 hp and 21-23 lbs ft. of torque - at the rear wheels!". That quote was taken directly from Stillen's website. If they had at least said, "We saw a gain of 22hp and 22tq at the wheels on our dyno.", then it wouldn't be as bad as their above statement. If I don't see those types of gains, can I get a full refund, including shipping costs both ways? Hell, no! I just wish companies would advertise more accurately.

Fortunately for Enzyte, their product worked. Otherwise I'd be griping at them too.

...rant over...

Many cats are CARB legal - but OBDII is what has to be complied with...and you'll find none other than your stock CATS...

still running with the stock exhaust (I think i did my headers in april if i recall right?) and still havn't noticed any losses anywhere in the curve. I still stand by it's the larger exhausts that cause people down-low loss
