Stillen CAI bottom bolt-No longer included?

I helped a buddy install a new Stillen airbox today. Interestingly, the airbox did not come with either with the bottom bolt or the bolt hole in the airbox.

Maybe Stillen scrapped the bottom bolt since so many people (including myself) tore up their forearms attempting to install it and then finally gave up.

LOL. I just had one shipped to me about 4 months ago. I finally got around to installing it last month. I spent about 1 hour trying to get that stinking screw in there and many bruises on my forearms to boot. It's about time they came out with a better design.

There is no need for that lower bolt, I've ran my stillen from 200 miles to current at 62k miles with no issues

Yeah, the next time I take the housing apart to clean the filter, I'll probably leave that nasty bolt out.

I installed 2 Stillen CAI's for friends and both of theirs did not have the bottom bolt. One of my other friends that got it at Stillen Day (May) time frame's still had that stupid bolt... So I assume Stillen has changed the design now to no longer include that bolt.
