qs on md aramid gasket.......

ok, had that installed and yes, noticed the plenum is cooler to the touch........as in driving around in 80s heat for about an hour, pop hood and can still put hand on top of plenum without being scourched......its warm, but not hot enough to pull hand off right away........my question is this.......is keeping the heat below and in the cylinder area good? i know it's good to get cooler air into engine, but at the expense of keeping heat below that gasket?
hope i making sense to someone here..inputs please.....
