Nope. The stock intake does a far better job at becoming pressurized at speed. There's no way a CAI can become pressurized because the filter element is fully exposed and the area in which it sits is wide open and can't stack a column of air. There's no ram air effect occuring.

They sell the intake because it makes them money. Sport Compact car did a test between a stock Track Z, a Nismo Z with a Nismo I/E, and a Nismo Z with I/E/H/Cams. The I/E Z made 3whp more than the stock Track Z and on the track, the Nismo Z are fractionally slower. The highly modded Nismo Z was only a couple tenths quicker than the stock Track. I believe it made about 265whp whereas the stock Track made 245whp.

thats fooooey! ...best if ur going fishing with in ur g with ur cold air! lol i usually check my injen after it rains or rolling through serious puddles and ive never saw any nor felt water drops anywherrre....ive heard some stillen air box/z-tube/pop-nonsense and it aint got shiiiiit compared to the sound of the injen? power wise either
