So the resonators will make the exhaust note sound better? If i didn't want a raspy sounding exhaust note but wanted test pipes i would go with these, is that the idea?

resonated test pipes reduce rasp. the only resonated test pipes that ive read about the eliminate rasp are the fast intentions test pipes.

and depending on what year your g is you may throw a CEL but you can fix that with non foulers

I just weighed my stock exhaust from my '06 coupe with sport package.
midpipe 10 lbs.
muffler w/exhaust tips 33 lbs.
Y-pipe 13 lbs.
Total weight is only 56 lbs.
Thought it would've been heavier than that but I guess not.

That just doesn't make sense. At least the HKS Ti sounds good for such an investment. What a bummer. I'd hoped that it would at least drop 20lbs.

Interesting. I thought that coupe exhaust is ~70lb, did they change it in 2006 G35c 6MT? Thanks

Remember that the HKS Hi-Power is a TD exhaust. There are two sets of piping and two mufflers with two resonators. No surprised they weigh the same.

Pretty much everything is lighter than stock. I could lift every single part with one or two fingers while changing my exhaust over the weekend.
