stock exhaust weight?
no idea but stock parts are hella heavy! i changed my cats on friday and i compared the weights of the fast intentions metallic cats and the stock cats (just by lifting them) and the stock cats are so freakin heavy!

HAHA...we just owned davids thread, but i guess its ok because i answered his question.
EDIT: Dan, will you have time to come down and help me get put them on before the track not this week but next week?

Glad you mentioned it. I've kept that system in the back of my mind as a future mod mainly for the weight savings. I thought it would be lighter and offer more than a 5-15 pound loss.

You have your headers that connect to the engine then your cats that connect from your headers to your y-pipe and then everything goes back to your muffler. Test pipes simpy remove the filter thingy in the middle of the cat and allow the exhaust to flow faster. Your cats also eliminate alot of exhaust sound and with test pipes replacing your cats the sound comes back.
