I just got the UTR Resonated Pipes. Will the check engine light come on once i install them? If so, how do i go about fixing that?

 

It probably will... you need a no-fouler spacer thing. Go to my350z.com and search for it, some guy sells it for like $20.

 

Unless the pipes come with a pre drilled hole for the 02 sensor then your warning light will come on.

 

As long as you plug your o2's in you should be fine. I never threw a cel for it if it does just do an ecu reset or drive for a couple days and it will correct itself

yes it should turn on with your 06. i think anything after 03.5 or 04.5 (or something like that lol) will throw a cel. fix it with non foulers

 

can i just go to pep boys or auto zone and pick up a set of non-foulers?

 

autozone should have them..search the forums..i know the part numbers have been posted a number of times..or ask "fastintentions" or "ismsolutions" if you cant find the numbers

it's a spark plug non-fouler..you need to drill it out and install it between the pipe and O2 sensor..

edit: found what you need..

you'll the the HELP 42002 non foulers - and you'll have to reset the ECU again..then you should be fine again

 

i just leave the cel on, brings contrast to the dash
