I have Crawford high-flow cats on my G Coupe. Butt dyno is happy with them. No issues whatsover so far, in over a year of use. Sounds great with the stock exhaust! No raspiness either. Fortunately, Florida does not have smog tests so I can't comment on the emissions issue.

It's up to you to decide if you think a louder exhaust and ~5 hp is worth $500. I personally don't think it's worth it but we're all entitled to our own opinions.

If I see a used set at a good price I'll probably jump on them but I won't pay $500 for them.

There are tons of used sets out there......

Either check the Marketplace here or over on 350z.com

What's stopping you?

This is the "only" reason I haven't done the hi-flow cat mod........nobody
makes a cat that's legal in Ca..........not sure what the laws are in other
states.....from what I've read on this site if you live in Florida you can get
away with anything........not worth the move to me! haha

Know what's funny?

I HIGHLY doubt that the average Joe in an inspection station could tell an aftermarket cat from a stock one. As long as they look similar, and something that looks like a cat is on there, how is anyone going to know?

Unless you get the tiny cats. But I have the Crawfordz, and they "resemble" stock.
