I've noticed that a lot of you guys run the 5/16 spacer. Why not run the 1/2 spacer? Is there a problem with it?

some like to keep the engine cover

5/16 provides nice "umphy" throughout wheres the 1/2 may cause you to lose some down low but gain more up top

i have the 5/16 and wouldnt have it any other way

5/16 better for the street, more "useable" power

How bout the 5\8 spacer' I run it?
Screw the engine cover and don't believe the hype about loosing low end with the larger spacer, its bull****... The bigger spacer is the one you want or at least the 1\2 in... Unless your worried about the engine cover, go for it, you will not be dissatisfied and will only hear negative things about the larger spacers from the people who have the small ones

Now I can feel the flames starting already.
