Amsoil makes a low restriction panel filter, easy to clean, using nano-fibers. No oil to mess with. P/N is EAA74. Good for 50K miles I think.

Iron flat the oem filter and measure the total square area [pleat depth and number of pleats].

How can a filter last longer than oem. Dirt has weight see which one weighs the most..........works the best at collecting weight.

Your piston rings and bearings will thank you.
Order half a case 6 oem at discount from Inet based discount dealers.

That's easy, Amsoil appears to have the same surface area, plus superior material.

No, but you can find them at most autoparts stores. Retail is between $30
and $40 and just drops in like the OEM. All you need to do after that is clean
it every 5K miles with the K&N kit....$10.95 most stores!

Every 5K????? Don't think so..it's more like every 30-50K. Maybe you meant 50K.
Still, very thin cross-section and uses oil.
The AEM poly fiber are Amsoil nanofiber are a much better solution IMO.
