Exhaust Sound Experts Opinions Please

Which exhaust that you have heard has the deepest rumble...small V-8 sound. I currently have Fuji, which I love, but may be interested in more sound. Fuji is relatively quiet until you mash it. I was considering RS*R, but that just may be too loud...not really deep. Any thoughts? Thank you for the opinions.

the crawford cat + stillen is pretty deep and stays that way as you rev (as far as I could tell from the sound clip on this site) - search for that thread - I think you might like that combo.

the FI hfc cat + FI is deep at idle but as you hit the throttle, there's some higher pitched frequencies added in that give it a pretty unique sound (starts out like V8 but ends up like a formula 1 high revving engine).

I have Fuji with DC Headers, Crawford Cats and JIC Y-pipe. I was thinking of keeping the JIC Y-pipe and just replacing Fuji mid and exhaust. I like this setup versus true dual for weight savings and since car is N/A. I am really not sure if there is a better setup out there for my needs. The DC's are excellent quality equal length, shorty headers. I think the Crawford's are the best HF cats. I think JIC is best Y-pipe. Fuji has one of the largest diameter piping @ 3 inch and is an excellent quality piece. I am really just looking for more sound, but nothing over the top.

No exhaust for these cars will match the sound of a V8. You can blame the firing order and lack of two cylinders for that. There might be a rumble at various rpms, but it's no match for the superior and clean sound of a V8.

Try this.............

Try www.utube.com they have almost all the sound clips from the major
companys. Or, you could go to www.magnaflow.com and listen to what
my exhaust system sounds like.....your choice!
