I'm a firm believer of "you get what you pay for" because I've been through it all before....it's not really that hard to just save a little more and get what you really want. You will ultimately be more happy with your purchase.

And am I the only one that thinks the acutal price of the HKS ($1250 shipped) is kind of reasonable. I mean, back in my turbo honda days, i bought a full cat back tanabe exhaust for like $650.... Seeing as you're buying in essence, two full cat back exhausts, wouldn't it make since that it would cost twice as much?

anyways, i have a prime example of ebay knock offs... I bought this equal length turbo manifold from kiwi fabrication. It cost me like $1100 bucks back in the day, and then ebay made a knock off version. Yeah, it looked equal length, it was shiney, and cost obsurdly cheap, and a bunch of people bought them like hot cakes...and guess what. A few months later you see these threads popping up "Help, my turbo manifold is cracking in 5 places, why??" LOL

it sounds like a fart can. can u hear those "blurps" like you hear from rice rockets? blech......i don't mind getting replicas at discounts, it's just this replica, looking EXACTLY the same as the HKS can't even reproduce the same sound as the HKS

yeh, it's definitely deeper. generally, with deeper exhausts comes drone.

if i wanted a deeper/fugly exhaust, i would have gone with the injen super ses aka injen ti tip.

just because it has more pipes doesnt mean it's heavier..

One of our members just got it. I heard it and it sounded as good or better than the HKS. The tips dont extend as far as the HKS and the tips dont look quite as nice. He said he noticed a gain after he put it on but no dyno to back it up yet. I am considering getting them. Half the price, can beat that.

who is going to crawl under your car just to stare at the tips..

if it sounds good, flows well, and has good welds, i'd buy it.

i agree with 2slo2bfurious- all parts for our cars are overpriced.

I noticed all the guys bashing the replicas are HKS owners.. little bitter?

as for the turbo honda guy up top.. you don't have a 30lb turbo and a 8lb wastegate sitting on top of the piping with no flexibility. I agree i wouldn't buy a replica turbo manifold but this replica exhausts/piping is on rubber hangers with 2 flex pipes with not even the same amount of heat a turbo manifold produces.

and that video that supershick posted is with test pipes so it doesn't sound the same as if you had the oem cats on.
