Spacer & YPipe Installed... Check Engine Light?!?!?!
I installed my spacer and y-pipe today. everything went smoothly until i reconnected the battery and the dreaded check engine light came on. I reset its memory by the pedal method and it cleared it... or so i thought. I noticed after the cehck engine light is gone, the light will blink briefly everytime i let go of the gas. it would do it every single time when i let go of the gas. The check engine light then came on again and again i reset its memory. Now i'm back to the same spot, blinks when i let go of the gas. You guys know why it would be doing this? Should i try disconnecting the battery for an entire 24hours? or is there another solution to this?

What did I do wrong..........?
You need to recheck everything you removed starting with the plem. Make
sure all bolts are set to torq specks.......don't over tighten. Recheck your
intake and all those vacume lines plus the plug on the front of your plem.
I hope you installed the MotorDyne spacer with his cool gaskets and spacers!
Good Luck with this.........!

is this the coil located near the intake manifold? That was the only thing i remember taking a bolt off and putting back on because it shouldn't have been detached in the first place.

Take your car to a local Autozone and borrow their scanner and see what code is coming up. If you figure that part out its easier to determine where the problem is. If the car is idleing funny most likely there is a misfire, check your wires and make sure their all pluged in tight. Good Luck.
