Although I'm skeptical about a test done by JWT resulting in *suprise* their system being the best, I'd like to look at it anyway. Link us up. I couldn't find it on their site.

Stillen apparently licenses the pop charger bracket or something from JWT.

The dynos proved the pop charger had the best gain (in that article - end of story). With a varis duct type of mod (ram air), I think it's the best you can do for the G. The other thing I found interesting (perhaps in another article comparing CAI) was that the injen CAI showed the most LEAN condition, which makes me think it has the most potential for power if you can tune (though it still lost to a POP in the dyno without any tuning).

It's not that they were testing their own system - they were trying to devise a new intake and were testing various designs and settled on a open heat shield paired with their cone filter.

Here is one article on the pop charger:

http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/june03/350pop/

and there is another one where they actually tested both and stuck with the injen because it leaned out the car more, but i can't find it right off here...

Odd that they say the Injen leaned it out the most when your article just states the JWT outperformed all the intakes including the CAIs?

I read the article quickly but don't see any specific references to removing any stillen heatshields or that it limited power in the upper rpm ranges?

Same can be said for you both as well. With no dynos or proof. Especially no other intake was tested by DaveB except the stock one. So you can't compare it.

RPL, to get the full potential of a spacer or MREV kit you must get a intake like the Stillen or you won't get the most gains out of the mod. The stock box can not supply enough airflow for the extra gain of power. I proved this on my G35 with a dyno a while back.

Actually that incorrect. DaveB has posted his dynos, his TEMP findings and other dynos.

You have posted, well none.

Why even chime into this converstion? You never post any data to verify your statements. So it's just ends up a pissing contest. as usual.

"HIS" dynos? No he has never DYNOED his car period. He has never had a aftermarket INTAKE on this car period.

I have POSTED plenty in the past 3 years or whatever I have been here before you. You sir came in way after I did and never got to see them. So don't try to say I never posted any.

No I post flaws I see in any type of testing procedures. And there are MANY in this one I see especialyl since that person said he tested intakes and he only tested the stock one on his car which again has never been dynoed.

This is a fact. You can't argue with it. If you do your just another idiot.

His dynos, his track times, same basic thing.

Um WHERE??? What dynos?????? Post them up. Why? Because without proof to back what you are saying it's just words. Sorry.

And ah, he tested the temps, not intakes. Right?

Fact? What facts? If you don't post your dynos or data, then you are also another idiot. Touche'

Here is EXACTLY what he did. TEMPS, TEMPS, TEMPS..Now if you want to inject some REVELANT AND CONSTRUCTIVE debate, FINE. If you want to continue your USUAL unvalidated blabber, just quit.

Like I said, where are HIS dynos? He has NEVER TAKEN HIS CAR TO THE DYNO PERIOD.

We are asking for HIS stuff, not you asking me.

Until then STFU.

We all know I have done the tests in the past and DaveO and many others.

DAveB tests are useless like his name clueless one.

WHAT dynos? He did TEMPERATURE testing! LOL

Nice and mature bro! Since YOU said you PROVEN this or that, then I get to ask YOU where YOUR dynos are. So until you provide the same info that YOU'VE been asking for, you ain't got much to say now do ya?

Yes, I can **** further than you. I knew you weren't going to provide the dynos. You never do. I'd actually RATHER have the dynos than go around this circle jerk bs with you. But YOU always fail to provide it. If YOU can't provide the dynos, then how can you expect someone ELSE to find them? Duh

Way to screw up somebody else's thread. Can't you guys just PM each other this nonsense rather than drag it out for all others to see?

Go ask him. He's the one that had nothing to contribute to this thread. I WAS contributing until lamo INSISTS on getting his 2 dynoless cents in.

Like I've said 10 times before. Just supply the dynos. It would shut everyone up. But he insists on dragging it out for 10 thousand pages. Go figure.
