What do you think about this exhaust? I'm looking for a really low throaty growl from the G, not a high pitched drone... can I expect that from this exhaust? Any suggestions appreciated.

 

Well... I think it does give the G a low throaty growl, and I like the way it looks, but it gives off the worst in cabin drone I have ever heard. Some people say that its worth it, but I could not stand it.

 

which one are you looking at?

the ses or track edition?

 

Which do you think would be better? Also, are there any sound clips of this exhaust inside the cabin, so I can hear the "drone"?

 

personally, i like the injen ses better.

the track edition tried to mimic the look of hks, but failed miserably (imo). either that or my standards are too high

i don't remember if he has any vids from in the cabin. the drone (or lack of) depicted in sound/vid clips is not the best representation, though.

 

I loved the Injen Track Edition for the short time I had it on my car. Just the drone was terrible. Its much better than the HKS system, IMO alteast. HKS is too high pitched and ricey sounding for me. The Injen was a deep, loud growl. Unfortunately, the drone was so bad I couldnt take it anymore and got rid of it. I happily replaced it with the Fast Intentions Intimidator exhaust system and am so much happier. You cant go wrong with any of the three systems(Injen, HKS, or Fast Intentions) but IMO, the FI system is number 1.

I'd say stay away from Injen.

My personal preference would be either Stillen, HKS, or FI.

I like tha ses one i plan on getttin one or APS ...im leanin towards SES..

 

I like the injen and it is very deep. I heard it the other day, but i did not get to hear the drone the cabin. from what the guy said, it droned from 1700 rpm to 2300 rpm or something like that. it's really bad from what others are saying.

it looks almost as good as the HKS. you can't really tell if you're not down low.

I want to know the difference between the SES and track edition besides the titanium tips.
