faster the rpm goes up, the faster your in your powerband. meaning you'll get more power faster.

yes stillen is better in that it has an actual functional heatshield...not some tin cutout...you could always buy a heatshield from stillen and use the poop charger filter...

Installing Stillen Stuff..........?

You won't notice any difference (except sound) after this install. And you
should remove the negative side of the batter when doing so. You will notice
a great deal of diffrence when you install a better exhaust system or one of
MotorDynes spacers. It all works togeather......more air in and exhaust out.
Plus the combo of the intake and exhaust system sound soooooo sweet!

if you want a power increase you should have gone for a CAI setup. A short ram setup is only for the sound.

CAI dont give much power if any at all either, the fact is that the OEM box is already very efficient and is hardly the limitation on a relatively stock engine

Im not sure if you guys would consider it relevant, but i dyno'd my car before and after the JWT POP w/ G3 Tube and i got 7WHP. Both were DynoJet, temp was off by maybe 6-7 degrees. Only thing though, one was at AMS and the other was at Stillen and the humidity was different. Also i have other mods which is probably why i got somewhat (for an intake) of a increase.

But im sure some of you are gonna argue about how they were at 2 different places and the humidity was off, and yada yada yada. So im just gonna leave it at that. Just my $0.02... Dont wanna get those dyno hot heads going
