at the very least you should reset your ecu.

but the gains on a ztube may only be a few horses and for a 3500 lb car... = nada.

I installed a Z-tube and only because it was free my friend did not want it any longer and it sounds GREAT when your RPMs are around 4500-5000 sounds deep like aftermarket intake, but as far as the car is faster...ummmm It feels the same to me, the HP gain that you get from it get's lost before it gets the the wheels, so ultimately your WHP will be the same, meaning you won't feel crap

12 hours? Doesn't it only take like 20 seconds?

You're NOT suppose to feel any power from an intake.

My car definately felt more responsive, but no power gains what so ever.

If you wanted power, you definately got the wrong mod.

They do sound sweet though; kinda like a mini turbo

when you plug the battery back in, expect your throttle and engine to rev kinda akward cuz your ecu is reconfiguring itself...if you don't feel that, then your ecu is not reset...it takes at least 12 hours for it to clear....OR...you can search for the method to do it without unplugging....you don't need to reset, your ecu will learn over time...but if you want to reset ASAP, then I suggest you either unplug or follow the steps....

search the string "ecu reset"

Ed, I told you about that combo not having any power increase and it was only gonna be in your head

an intake won't give you noticeable increase unless you go to the track befoer & after the mod. So yea, start going to the track
