So...
I left my g/f's house this morning.. picked up gas at at station I don't usually go to.. thinking about some crazy morning $ex instead of taking care of my baby.... pulled out onto a busy street really fast to slip into the flow of traffic... drove right off the f'n curb!!!! ***** F$%@#()%#@().
scrapped the front bumper a little... not bad.. but also flattened the tips of my exhaust!
Does anyone know if the tips can be 're-rounded'? I don't want to look like an @ss at the muffler shop if I don't have to. This could be a good excuse to go with an FI cat back...
$hit I feel like such an idiot!!

Damn. I know the sound must have been like "oh-my God". At least you didn't detach your whole exhaust like my friend did on his Z!

sorry to hear. It's possible a pipe expander can re-round out your tip. Try a mufffler shop. good luck

A muffler shop could try to get them round again but the cost of removing
them and labor would probably exceed the cost of new tips. I hope that's
all the damage you did. Next time it's on a lift check everything out.

Here are the pics.. left is not as bad as right.. but still.. D@MN IT!

Thanks for the kind words... I guess it isn't as bad as rippin the whole thing off... still feel like an @ss
I did stick my head underneath when I got home.. didn't see anything.. I really should get it up on the jack stands and roll all the way under...

on the plus side it kind of looks like an exhaust tip of a 911
although that does suck; i think you're best off just buying new tips.

They can probably get it pretty close by heating and banging it around. It doesn't look too bad though.
Also, a cheaper alternative, buy new tips and have them welded on.

eh just get some new tips. the shine is gone from your old tips anyways. oh and maybe a new set of tires would help n keep you off the medians lol
