Safe to add mrev2 and spacr to 05 rev up motor?

IM curious if its safe to add the mrev2 and 5/16 spacer to the 05 rev up motor.... along with and exhaust and intake... I just dont understand why it would be safe on a 05 and not on a 03-04 does it recalibrate itself on the 05s for the added air? thanks

03-04 non-revup motor (regardless of tranny)
AT = non rev-up motor (regardless of year)

MT 05-07= revup motor

Mrev2 and a spacer on the non-revup engines have shown issues with running lean

On other hand

Mrev2 and Spacer is a GREAT combo for REV-UP engines

So putting just a MD 5/16" spacer in an 06 AT could pose some risks?

MREVs are for the rev-up motors... the only difference is that the MREV2 is slightly more machined than the MREV. The MREV will add about 15 lbs of torque while the MREV2 also adds 1 or 2 hp

there's a difference between the mrev2 and just the spacer. Plus the mrev2 as listed above is fine for any AT G. You should be fine if you put the spacer on.

Adding mrev2 and spacer is okay for the revup motor, for a nonrevup motor, use one or the other, not both unless you have a way of tuning your a/f, as it has shown to get lean with both on a nonrevup motor.

does anyone know why this doesnt cause an issue with a rev up motor, has anyone logged the air fuels to make sure there safe?

Thr Rev-up motor has a better EM (engine management) the previous years. It can adjust more readily than the EM's from earlier years to your mods.

BTW I have an 06MT and dyno before and after this mod. It showed a lean condition for me, but it was because I missed a hose. DOH But all is fine now.

So here is another question, I have an 03 (obviously non-revup motor) and as a future mod I am considering, Mrev2 + 5/16th spacer + upgraded fuel pump + turboXS engine managment. In my thinking this would help add a nice bit of power and also compensate for any problems usually attributed to running lean on the earlier engines. Is my thinking correct or will this mod likely lead to engine problems for me down the road?

Mrev2 and 1/2 Spacer is a good for REV-UP engines with an exhaust because you lose some low end tq and the 1/2 spacer helps

The spacer is a great mod and the MREV is a nice add-on for the rev-up guys.

and the MREV-2 with 5/16 gives you back HP up top.

Forgot my dyno #'s but with current set-up (including exhaust with HFC's)
I gained over 20ftlbs tq & over 25 HP through out power band.
