I have not seen any intake get more than a few hp to the wheels (proven by owners, not manufacturers) so I think it is more in your head. Still the sound is awesome and worth it without the gains.

Stillen CAI........

The Stillen CAI (my first mod) is just the beginning. Now you have more air
coming into you engine are you going to do something with it? The MotorDyne spacer will allow that air to get inside your plem and be distributed
correctly. Ok, it's in there how do you get it out and sound better.....with a
less restrictive cat-back exhaust system. You think you like the sound now
if you make these above mentioned mods the sound will make your hair stand
on end! I scare little old ladys off the street when I jump on my G but never
in front of the cops....that's not done! Good Luck & Enjoy!

It's all in your head. The sound is probably giving you a sense of "added" power.

No intake will ever give you enough power for you to "feel" it. If anyone can feel 2 hp and/or 2lb of torque, even 5 being optimistically, then they have something special going on (6th sense?).

Either way, you probably gained nothing. Intakes for our cars are not really a performance mod. I see it more as an "efficiency" mod.
