GT-Spec lower tie bar fitment with Fast Intentions exhaust (and similar TDs)

Did a quick search and came up empty. Has anybody had fitment issues with the GT-Spec lower tie bar with the Fast Intentions exhaust? Also curious about any experience people have had for fitment with other true dual exhausts. TIA.

Which bar are you talking about? The 4-point center chasis bar? I have all 4 GT Spec braces on my car, but the rear bar needs a little flattening and the way back bar wont fit without re-doing the rear pipes.

The rear tie bar is the one connects the 2 rear spring perches. Its the one that's furthest back and sits above the rear piping of the exhaust. The rear lateral bar is the one that hangs down low and connects to the rear suspension members. The rear tie bar is the one that most people seem to have the most trouble with hitting on aftermarket exhausts. I don't have the front chassis box brace yet, but that's on the list for the future.

The only concern I have is with the rear lateral bar, if the pipes have to be rerouted for that, they won't fit with my 350EVO sway bars either. Those hang down low and go under the exhaust rather than trying to fit through it like a stock bar. I'm assuming your FI exhaust has a custom piping to allow for the bars? Would Tony and company be able to replicate those same bends for my setup?

Here are 2 pics of Sentry65's rear suspension, he has the same GT-Spec bars and sways that I do. I don't have a picture of mine.

The lateral bar will fit, if you flatten the 1 1/2" section where the exhaust is likely to rub. You wont need to redo the pipes.

The rear tie bar is the one that would require the pipes to be redone.

Thanks Rick. I'm definitely not eliminating the bars from my setup. Suspension take priority overing being able to run a particular exhaust. I guess I'll hit Tony up to see if he's capable of offering the system in the proper shape or I'll start looking harder at my other options again.

He can only do that if he has another car doing the exact same thing, and he'll have to build jigs to reproduce it. Unless there are many who also want it, it is unlikely that he'll be able to make just 1 or 2 without the cars being local.

Never hurts to call though!
