i got a brand new z-tube and airbox for $40 , is there any ponit to switch the airbox in with the tube or are they exactly the same as the G ones?

 

No, just keep you airbox and swap the Z-tube

i good guy on ebay. his first listing ended with no bids when he relisted it i haggled him to 40$ shipped.

so the G and the Z air box is the same, im going to get the pop charger soon probably but i dont have the $$$$$ right now

 

the air boxes are different. The Z airbox will not fit the G and the G empoys a scoop that feeds air into the airbox, that the Z does not. Put on the Z tube, keep the stock airbox and get a KN/nismo drop in filter.

Yes, nissan/infiniti use the same oem filter for many of their cars.

 

just want to say that i got the z-tube installed and it sounds amazing, not only at WOT and above 4k it also sounds amazing when accelerating in a high gear its sounds so deep, i just dont hear the PSSSSSSSHSHSHSSHH that everyone is talking about.

 

you wouldnt hear this unless you were boosted. (turbo, etc.)

it's the sound of air being released from the blow-off valve when the throttle plate closes.

The Stillen cone filter is close end - pop charger is open - gives the whistle, phhssshhh, described many different ways..

cost 100 sell 50 - it's new, have receipt (if I know you 40, for those I've already quoted).
