70mm = 2.75"

Since the Tanabe Y-pipe also has a 70mm output, I think it would be a great choice to get the two together.

IIRC the setup meet's noise regulations with a 95db max. Wonder if that also gives you a extra measure of insulation against the droaning that is so common with aftermarket system's in the 2400-2800 rpm range.

 

i have both, y pipe and medallion touring. i also have headers and hi flow cats. surprisingly enough the set up isn't loud during city cruising but, lol , it's really LOUD at wot on the highway. hope this helps bro. good luck with your decision.
