350z intake for jwt pop charger same as z-tube?

just bought a jwt pop charger w/ 350z pipe... is this the same as the z-tube? it says its a larger diameter than the stock g pipe and is a direct replacement... i kinda made the assumption that the "z" in z-tube meant the 350z's pipe

Installed JWT last night... took 2 hours (with the fact that this is my very first install on my own and i dropped a bolt I spent 40min looking for)

had to adjust a bar that keeps it in place.. it doesnt line up evenly, and that took up nearly 30min to figure out the best way to do that.. i ended up hammering it so its less of a bend and reaches further

really should only take 20min after uve seen it done once

wat is this supposed to sound like? at certain rpms and accelerating, it gives a small whine.. normal? i havent had the car for long, but it doesnt seem like it made much a difference

holy sh**, it sounds amazing... i researched around and found out the whine is normal and at WOT its got a good growl.. i jus gunned it and heard the growl... thats some awesome sh*!! performance-wise, 5rwhp isnt even noticeable on our engines, but the sound is GREAT

lmao car mods and pc. im trying to do the same thing. except ur way ahead of me.

i'd appreciate it if u posted a sound clip of some sort since urs is just installed. ive heard other clips but they dont come out as great. i installed mine and just wanted to compare. i dont really get the whine in 1st but in 2nd i get it beginning at 2k rpms. mine tends to sound more like a bov than a growl.
