Trying to upgrade my 04 G35

I have decided after about a year of owning my G35 that it is time to get into some mods.

I recently got the windows tinted, 20% all around, and now I want to do the rims, change the exhaust, add a CAI, and some neons.

I am a little concerned about making the right choice for the CAI and the exhaust. I really liked the sound of the stillen catback for the G35, it has a nice baritone resonance. But which CAI should I go with? AEM looks solid and has the water barrier on it, so I thought about it.

The second problem is I live in Omaha, NE, and the Infiniti dealership has never installed a CAI.

Any thoughts?

once u start modding, u wont stop. so welcome to modificationitis =D

are there no other places that can install an intake for you? and if anything, they should at least be able to install a nismo CAI for you. if you dont want them doing the intake, i suggest going z-tube/popcharger or stillen.

and also, why neons? lol

I don't want the neons under the car, I want the ones that go on the wheels. I thought they would accent the new rims.

cai do nothing except making the car take longer to get air...they have been proven to make no power but noise...if you wan to upgrade get a stillen cab with a z-tube or a z-tube with a k&n panel filter

look at either the stillen w/z-tube or jwt intake. go to either youtube or streetfire web sites to listen to the exhaust sound you like and then research that catback system. make sure they dont have any headers or hi flow, because that will sound more aggressive than yours will.

also check out 350z tech site. they have alot of info about aftermarket parts

I would go with a z-tube and stillen intake, then you dont have to worry about water. Also dont do the neons, never looks good IMO.
