To ALL 07 G35 Coupe owners with a self installed JWT Pop Charger/Z-Tube

http://www.imagestation.com/album/pi...87496321&idx=1

I was using that as a guide to install my JWT Pop Charger/Z-Tube and it was pretty accurate UNTIL I got to the installation of the heat shield. Looks like that guide was made in 04, so I wonder if it is different on an 07? I couldn't figure out WHERE to attach the heat shield because there are NO holes to screw it in. It could be that I'm a total idiot or there are no holes for me to attach the heat shield on the 07. PLEASE someone shed some light for me. Thanks in advance.

The heatshield has a metal bracket that connects under the filter, it like clamps onto a slim metal piece. You arent the only one, i ran no heatshield for like a month cuz i couldnt figure it out.

I know exactly where it is suppose to be clamped onto. But there aren't any holes on that piece. There are two little outlines of circles with little indentations where it could be screwed on.

My heatshield has holes in it. The area on the car where it is supposed to be clamped under the air filter doesn't have any holes. Have any other 07 owners experienced the same problem?

You need to attach a bracket onto the heatsheild and then it clamp it onto the car. It is very hard to eplain, and the directions suck.

Thanks guys. When I get home from work tonight I'm going to try and install it again. I didn't realize the bracket had an actual purpose. I thought it was just used as a backing for heat shield when it was screwed on. Thus me having the dilemma of not knowing where to screw on the heat shield.
