well the stock ones are heavy. i think they are like 100 punds a peice or somthing. dont ask me were i got that number but i recall some one saying that. Cobra's are super nice but if you this route you will loose ur auto seat functions and i belive you might have to disable the side airbag or somthing becuase it wont work with the modified seats.

A great dual purpose seat (street and track use) is the Sparco Roadster. There's enough there to keep you in place, but it's setup so you can still easily get in and out of the seat. I want to say they're about $450-500 a seat, plus rails, etc...
The only issue i could see with these seats is that they are not adjustable so you couldn't easily get in the back seat if you had two of these seats in a coupe.
