Question to those who have Stillen intake
I've noticed whenever I turn off my car, I can hear what sounds like the intake spooling down? I'm not sure how it works but it doesn't sound too good, sounds a little rough. I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or if it is completely normal for an intake to sound like. Sorry for poor description of the sound..

If you're talking about the sound of air being sucked into the intake, yes it will "spool down" for a few seconds after you turn off your car. That's because the pistons keep moving even after the engine is turned off until the force is dissipated, and this takes a few seconds. So for that time, the cylinders will still be sucking air in. That’s normal.

Okay, I have another sound question, but time it may be related to the spacer I installed today, when I push the pedal down a little bit, I hear a hissing sound, almost like a constant turbo sound, when I push farther, the sound goes away, but for about an inch or so the pedal continues to make the sound, is that bad or normal?

Intake "spooling down" and spacer sounding "like a turbo"... is this a G35Driver version of "Punked"... or Candid Camera?... You are kidding right?... You have read the multitudes of information about both basic mods I hope... I'm not sure how or why someone would ask these questions... where did you get the idea to install these mods?... Have you read anything like this from the hundreds of people that installed before you?
I'm sorry if it comes across as harsh, but I must believe you are joking - maybe not?

I don't have a spooling sound coming from my Stillen.
Perhaps you have a Turbonater?
In all seriousness, the hissing is normal as long as you don't have a vacuum leak or some other hose loose. And as for the spooling...
A hissing sound is normal from the intake. It's pretty obvious once you get past 3000 rpm's.

It's nothing I notice during my normal daily driving... and nothing I mind at all.
