Removing the JWT pop charger for cleaning?
I have like 20000kms on my filter and decided to clean it although its not that dirty.
I had the JWT pop charger and z tube installed at a garage but want to do the removal of the filter and cleaning myself.
Do I just need to remove the bolts and take out the pop charger or do I have to remove the MAF sensor? Do I need to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery as well?
Or is it just a matter of loosening the bracket bolt holding the metal band at the base of the filter? Thanks in advance!

i took my off at 5pm. Spray the cleaner, let the water run down on the filter and let it dry for about 2 hours. 7:30PM spray the oil on and let it dry until the next morning. Install it back on the z tube.
I also clean my MAF sensor at the same time.

i heard you can soak the cone in CLUB SODA. i have yet to try this on my stillen intake. the carbonation would "scrub" the filter. i would also like to comfirm this method from other members who has tried it without any problems.

The K&N Kit is not that expensive, but you car is. Clean it right and re-oil it right. When you spray the hose do it from the inside out only. Do not over-oil or you'll screw up your MAF. Let it sit overnight.Lou
