Love that rumble. Gives it a V8 sound for a second. Congratulations. Anyone know how the PopCharger sound compares to a K&N Typhoon?

I was going to record it today but I got rained out so hopefully tomorrow, maybe I can get one under load as mentioned. I also thought of creating some sort of flow tube from the lower air inlet to the filter but found after removing a piece of foam blocking the inlet that the air flow seemed pretty strong. Guess I'll leave well enough alone, know what I mean, vern? Wish someone in Jax., Fl. had a dyno.

 

it'd be cool if you can get a clip of good acceleration from stop with windows open.
and some front of car clips.

I'm pretty sure I am gonna order one of these babies soon. but I wanna try to find a polished pipe like injen... anyone know if such a thing exists?

 

That sounds pretty cool, I wouldnt say V-8 but cool for sure.

Hee Hee...nice vids Speedee...that's exactly what it sounds like. I also agree with Fluffydot...I bet someone would sell a buttload of Z-Tubes if they were chrome plated or colored.

just wanna confirm that you ONLY have Z-tube + JWT Popcharger and nothing else?

I think for the benefit of everyone, I will put in a Z tube first, make some videos and then put in Popcharger for comparison.
(but this will be in the spring time frame)

 

Those two and Gords 7 wire grounding kit but that would have no effect on the sound, that's it.
I found that just the tube gave it a deeper intake sound throughout the rpm range and the pop charger adds a raspier sound only at 4k and above and of course the whistling. It almost gives the car the aftermarket exhaust sound, nice unexpected side effect.
