Well..for one, all the poisonous and smelly unburnt gases that the whole world around you will smell.

How will this sound with the stillen catback?

 

I own a Fast Intentions exhaust, and hear the Stillen on a daily basis (neighbor). So I hope you will take my word for it. But the best thing you can do is compare both of them by yourself by hearing them in person:

Stillen: Closest aftermarket exhaust to sound like stock. It's basically the stock exhaust amplified x2. Sounds great during cruise/WOT; basically stock amplified with a little deeper tone. Stock at idle.

Fast Intentions: Like Rick stated, "The stock exhaust on steroids and deeper". It's deep during cruise in the 1k-3.5k RPM's. Like stock, but deeper and with a slightly different tone that lets everyone know its definately not stock. Once you get on it (WOT), it sounds amazing. I honestly really can't describe the sound... maybe a bit more "exotic" is the right term here. At idle, it's a little deeper and has a slightly different tone to it... if you pay close attention.

As far as looks, well, that's Stillen's biggest dis-advantage. That's the #1 reason why I didn't go with the Stillen (thank God I wen't with FI ). The Stillen has nothing on the Fast Intentions in terms of looks.

PS. Video's do not do justice to either exhaust. Both sound much more pleasing in person than in videos.

Skaterbasist....thanks for the inputs. I have a friend up here that has Fast Intentions on his car, I'll listen more carefully next time. My next question is, will the 300 Cell Cats compliment the Stillen catback? or will it sound ricey? Opinions are greatly appreciated.

 

300 Cell FI cats (or any other HFC) will not make an exhaust such as the Fast Intentions or Stillen sound anything near "rice". If anything, it will just make it sound louder & more amplified (better for me)

HFC will make an exhaust that sounds good sound even better. In the other hand, HFC will also make an exhaust that sounds horrible to begin with, sound even worse... you get the point

Thanks for the opinion...have you heard stillen + FI Cats? Anyone? I wish I was on here when the sale was going on. I will have to wait for the next one.

when is the new X-pipe coming out for the FI exhaust? Tony told me he's making a custom one and it'll make our car sound even more exotic.

 

I'm not sure of a release date. Not only is there going to be a custom X portion, which actually is the easy part of the development, but FI is also having custom resonators made as well.

Not only will the new center section provide for a more exotic sound, but we expect it to provide more performance as well. Once the final designs are completed, tested, dyno's etc...which I expect to be in somewhat short order...you'll all know.

I just made mt FI exhaust pee in a cup. ALL NATURAL RAGE in my exhaust. No roids here baby, just sweet sounding exhaust!!!

 

Got my FI exhaust installed about 3 weeks ago thanks to tinman143 for selling it to me.. but when coming home (I live uphill) so the exhaust sounds pretty good when going up my hill..my friend told me.."dude your exhaust sounds like those expensive exotic cars".. I sad "what do you mean?", he says "well you know it sounds like those hundred thousand dollar super cars" lol... I was like cool!!

by the way I got a sound clip of the exhaust with JWT Popcharger.. I SHOULD get getting the FI resonated testpipes from zone next week, I will take a sound clip then as well.. and compare the too...
