You do not need a UTEC after this.

Ask yourself how handy are you with a wrench? I guess if you're asking about an install then you are probably leading towards a shop doing it anyways.

If I had to estimate, 2 hours max @ whatever rate there is (maybe $60ish)

thats pretty cheap...so if i have an issue shouldnt be that bad to revert back to stock to take it to the dealer...or will they know the car was modded?

You won't need a UTEC or retune if you install it.
If you revert back to stock they won't know it was modded.
If you leave it in they wont know its modded unless they are really looking for it.

This mod isn't like turbo or nitrous so they shouldn't give you any problems for having it.

But if you ever did have any serious problem (like excessive oil consumption) I say take it out just to be safe. It only takes about an hour to switch out.

Besides, it is good to keep all your stock parts. One day when you sell the car or your lease expires, put all your stock parts back on the car when you sell it... and then sell the MREV2/spacer kit on the boards here and you can get a good portion (if not most) of your money back.

I'm thinking of adding the same setup. What can we expect for horsepower gains with both of these mods and where will it be felt the most, high end or low end power? Also, my car is an 07 automatic.

OK, so you have the non-revup engine.

Your gains will be that of the spacer and the MREV2 will add another 2-6 HP through various parts of the midrange.

If you had a REVUP engine, it would add another 15-20 HP through the midrange.

So in all honesty, is it even worth doing either of these? If I do, I'd just do the spacer I think. Please let me know.

I generally recommend just the spacer for the best bang for the buck.
A spacer will certaintly make gains on your car but what it is worth is completely subjective.
