problem with JWT intake?

So I bought my intake used from a forum member here. It didnt come with the screws to put the MAF housing onto the intake. So i used the stock screws. I start cranking it down and three of the bolts snap. ****!!!! I manage to get two of the screws out but the other two just wont. Just so happens that the two I did get out are on opposite sides. So i get two new screws, start cranking it down..pretty good. BUT..theres a tiny gap between the maf housing and the intake. like business card gap. I called JWT and they said they could send me a new one for 70 bucks, but ive been driving around with it and it seems fine. But im paranoid im sucking dust into the engine. The gap is very small, like i said..i can barely get a business card through it. Do you guys think its going to be a problem?

The bolts you're using are too long. They're bottoming out inside of the threaded venturi stack. Use shorter bolts or add some washers and you should be set.

I ran into the exact same problem when installing my Popcharger.
