Anyone have dyno results for the Borla exhaust? (coupe or sedan?)
I've searched but only found one or two that had other mods. I know Stillen claims 20hp but most here gain 10ish. DaveB said his friend saw 5hp. Anyone else?
expect anywhere from 5-10 rwhp just like stillen because it is true dual. Now i am a big believer in tune otherwise ur stock ecu map is too restrictive for it to gain any real power with breather mods.
I have the Borla exhaust and I can't really understand why more people don't like it. I have not had the car re-flashed yet, as I still want to make a couple small mods before I do. Thus, no dyno results either.
I will tell you that my calibrated butt dyno senses a noticeable difference in midrange and high rpm power. The sound is fantastic. Between the breather mods up front and the exhaust, my car sounds like a beast.

Any threads/posts where I can see this gain?

On "stillen day" back in '05, stock '03 auto coupes were dynoing 220ish whp/205ish wtq. With all my addon junk (z-tube, pop charger, MD 1/2" spacer, borla, and TS ECU reflash) I made 249 whp/227 whtq on the best pull.
Do you feel any difference? And can you stand the sound difference?

Idle and 3k+ rpm is fine. But I'm right on the fence for the 1500-2800 rpm drone. On my auto all the gear changes are right in the 2500 rpm range. I've taken my daughter around and she doesnt' seem to mind but I haven't had the wife in it yet.
From what I read, the Borla should be the quietest full TD system. I dont' see how to get it quieter unless one puts another huge resonator in place of the dual resonators after the Y. I believe most of the drone is coming from those two resonators.

It's odd. I would think the coupe version would be loud. Sedan has a huge muffler type can at the Y. Coupe has just an H pipe. Both have the same resonators

Some more info. . .from WAY back in the day. . .
Oh, and since they still love me down in SoCal, here's a link to a dyno day from 2004. EdLin is the only sedan that I know that has/had a borla.
