XO2 Exhaust w/ Kinetic HFC. TOO LOUD

Just like the title says, installed XO2 exhaust with Kinetic HFC and it's a bit too loud for my taste. (drones too much at highway speed with windows up)
I'm thinking about installing a pair of resonators, but some says that it won't do any good and recommends putting stock cats back on(which I don't wanna do)

Any insights on this subject? Thanks in advance

I drove my 73 Mustang with a dual exhaust and glass packs for 8 years through HS and college. I am used to drone on the highway.

I'm looking to get an HKS exhaust right now, do you think HFCs are a necessity with the exhaust? How big of a difference is it? I have only heard an HKS in person without HFCs so I have no reference to compare to.

Richard, do you have HFCs or test pipes on yours, or are you just running the exhaust with stock cats?

that looks sick, I almost picked up the diffuser locally from a forum member, but someone bought it before I had a chance.

I'm gonna pull the trigger on the HKS exhaust tonight though
