coupe exhaust on sedan? anyone do this?
good luck , I had a 2000 328i everyone told me i could not fit the M3 exhaust on there for the same reason and with some slight modification i did it. the body shop had to do some reshaping of the spare tire well but it fit. anything can be done as long as the $$$$ is there.
Good luck with that. I too am a sedan owner fond of the coupe exhaust note, but knowing they don't fit easily, with with an aftermarket (HKS) muffler and coupe mid-pipe....all bolt-on's and sounds way better than the stock coupe IMO.
My $0.02.....go aftermarket or just buy a coupe.
Or be bold & be the first sedan owner to attempt this & risk F'ing up your car. Good luck!

thanks guys. yea i thought about that way like in the diagram, seems fairly easy depending on the room next to the evap. i don't really want this mod for the sound, i like it the way it is with coupe mid pipe, i want it for the duals. its hot! but i also don't want to just hang a non-functional tip over there either.
hey guys, another question about the evap system. if i run an exhaust pipe near the box will the pipe get too hot for the evap? what does the evap do exactly? will my car explode if it gets hot or something?

i'm with you on that, i love the look of the duals like the altima or maxima
so i was reading the other threads about this subject and what if i got the borla system and ran straight pipes after the two resonaters instead of the borla muffler? any major power issues? would it be too loud? this seems easier than the coupe muffler
